Last week Vince McMahon made his return to SmackDown Live and he confronted Kevin Owens in the middle of the ring. The segment has been a very hot topic over the last week, because after Vince shook Kevin’s hand, Kevin busted McMahon open with a headbutt.

The segment got people talking, and it certainly seems that Vince McMahon must have faith in Kevin Owens since he put him over in such a big way. Owens recently spoke to The Pueblo Chieftan about working with Vince McMahon and he said that it’s something he will remember for a very long time.

“That was my first time being in the ring with Vince McMahon,” said Owens. “For a lifelong WWE fan, it was pretty special — definitely a moment in my career I never really thought would happen and one that I will remember for a very long time. And one I think Vince will remember as well.”

Kevin Owens is one of the top heels in the WWE today, and he added that he’s been playing the role for 10 years now. As far as his inspiration goes, he looks for unlikable traits in people that he observes.

“I’ve basically been playing that role for a decade,” he said. “When I think of things that make me not like people, I can tap into that easily because I like to watch and observe people and their personalities. And through the years, I’ve taken from a lot of people, little things that I consider to be unlikable traits. So why not use it at work?”

Kevin Owens will go on to face Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell next month. Who will you be rooting for? Sound off in the comments below.
