It’s been an interesting couple of weeks for the cruiserweight division in WWE. Enzo Amore won the belt a few weeks ago at No Mercy after he hit Neville with a low blow, and he lost the belt last week when he defended it against Kalisto in a Lumberjack Match on WWE Monday Night Raw.

When WWE resurrected the cruiserweight division in 2016, purple became the official color of the cruiserweights. During cruiserweight matches the ring ropes were changed to purple, and the Cruiserweight Championship itself was also purple, but not anymore.

It looks like someone in WWE decided that the title needed a new look, and Kalisto revealed the new belt with a black strap on Twitter.

Check it out below.

The division hasn’t exactly been embraced by the fans since it’s returned, and it appears that not everyone is a fan of the purple theme for the division.

Perhaps the new Cruiserweight Title belt will help people take the division a little more seriously.

Kalisto is champion for now, but his title reign could end sooner than later as he’s set to defend the belt against Enzo Amore at the upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view.
