AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view took place from Las Vegas over a week ago, but fans are still talking about the big show.

One of the talking points following the event was when Cody Rhodes took a sledgehammer to a Triple H inspired throne and destroyed it.

Jon Moxley also made his AEW debut at Double or Nothing, and in an interview with Flip the Strip on 840 KXNT he said that he thought the throne segment was awesome.

“It was awesome. I mean, what he wanted to do with that was symbolize that he’s going to be a wrestler right now and not an executive. But art is open to interpretation, so you wanted to say that it was him smashing HHH’s throne with HHH’s stupid sledgehammer, then that’s what it was to you.”

Moxley puts his AEW debut pretty high up on his list of big moments in his career, and he noted that for him it was even bigger than winning the WWE Title?

“It’s actually kind of a blur. It was very surreal. It was a great feeling. It was probably the best feeling of my career. Across the street from MGM Grand a few years ago at T-Mobile Arena, I won the WWE title—the title that I wanted to win as a kid ever since I saw Bret Hart versus Shawn Michaels Ironman match over that title. I was like, oh, I want to be WWE champion. I went and did that. That was pretty cool. This totally trumps that.”
