brock lesnar

Brock Lesnar has found success in the world of professional wrestling, as well as the world of MMA. Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion, and he’s also a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. It’s been rumored that Brock could be making his return to UFC in the future, and Jon Jones added fuel to the fire Saturday night after he defeated Daniel Cormier at UFC 214. Jones the grabbed the mic and said, “Brock Lesnar, if you want to know what it’s like to get your ass kicked by a guy who weighs 40 pounds less than you, meet me in the octagon.”

Brock Lesnar certainly doesn’t seem to be afraid of Jon Jones, as he issued the following response to the Associated Press:

“Be careful what you wish for, young man.”

In regards to why Jones wants to fight Brock so badly, during the post-fight press conference he noted that it would be a fight that appears to the general public, and he wants to help expand the sport.

“We’re serious about it, and it would be great for the MMA world,” Jones said. “It would bring more of the general public to mixed martial arts, and that’s what we need. We need to expand our sport, so why not be the guy to take part in that?”

Is this fight going to happen? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure, Jon Jones is definitely trying his best to make it happen.
