This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was the go-home show for WWE Crown Jewel, and the company made a big change to the World Cup tournament.
During Raw, Bobby Lashley defeated Finn Balor, and acting General Manager Baron Corbin said that he was impressed with Lashley’s performance, so he added him to the tournament. Lashley told Corbin he though the tournament was full, and Corbin referenced John Cena when he told Lashley that he was replacing “someone who didn’t qualify.”
WWE Crown Jewel has become quite controversial, and it was recently reported that John Cena recently informed WWE officials that he would not be traveling to Saudi Arabia for the event.
