Last year former WWE writer Kevin Eck revealed via his blog that at one point there was an idea pitched to have Justin Bieber wrestle at SummerSlam a few years back. The plan was for Justin Bieber to team up with Big Show and John Cena to take on The Wyatt Family.

It was an interesting idea to say the least, but obviously it never happened. In Eck’s blog he mentioned how the deal with Bieber never came to fruition, and that he’s not actually sure how close it was to happening. He did mention that he wouldn’t be surprised to see WWE do something with Bieber in the future.

It remains to be seen if WWE will try to work with Bieber again, but the good news is, if they want to get John Cena involved, he’s up for it. TMZ recently caught up with John Cena and asked him about the match that never happened and they also asked him what he thinks about a possible match with Justin Bieber.

“I’d fight with him, or against him. It would go one of two ways. It would either go really good for me or really not good for me. ” Cena said.

When asked again if he would like to see the match happen he said, “Of course I would. I think people would like to see it.”

TMZ then tried to push him a little further by asking if Cena would call Justin Bieber out. Cena quickly took a page out of Dean Ambrose’s book by giving a simple one word answer.
