John Cena appeared on Raw this week, and he said that this year he will be going to WrestleMania, but he’ll be going as a fan.
The 16 time WWE World Champion then hopped in the crowd and took a sip of beer from a beer that a fan was holding. He chanted “this is awesome” with the fans and they chanted along. He then tried to get them to chant “let’s go Roman” but they booed instead.
Cena rolled into the ring and continued his promo as he said there’s a chant they won’t be able to do at WrestleMania, so it’s time for everyone to get it out of their system. He chanted “let’s go Cena” as the crowd chanted “Cena sucks.” This went on for a little bit as the crowd went back and forth.
John Cena then said he was going to do something he wasn’t supposed to do, and he challenged The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania.
The crowd went absolutely insane.
He yelled “I challenge The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania” several more times. He then said the only man keeping the match from happening, is The Undertaker.
Cena told Taker to get over his own ego. He followed up by saying when he fails, he gets back up and goes back to work, but when Taker fails, he hides his head in the sand. Cena told Taker to stop hiding behind his lame excuses, because he’s not too old, and not too washed up, and he’s not broken down.
He said if Taker was broken down he wouldn’t be posting work out videos on his wife’s Instagram.
Cena called Taker a “self centered, conceited, egomaniac” and he asked the crowd if they wanted to see The Undertaker kick his ass at WrestleMania and everyone went wild.
He finished his promo by saying, “The ball is in your court Deadman, time to see if you’re still alive. If I was you I know what I would do. I would want one more match.”
The fans then chanted “one more match” as Cena walked up the ramp.
