John Cena is no stranger to hosting gigs. He’s worked as a co-host on The Today Show, and earlier this year John Cena hosted ESPN’s ESPY Awards, and now John Cena has landed another high profile hosting gig. The official Saturday Night Live Twitter account has announced that John Cena will host the December 10th episode of SNL.

It’s been a while since wrestling fans have seen John Cena in a WWE ring, as he’s currently away filming the second season of his show American Grit which airs on FOX.

Earlier this week it was announced that John Cena has joined the cast of an upcoming comedy film titled “The Pact” which also stars Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz.

John Cena has accomplished just about everything there is to accomplish in the WWE. He’s a 15 time World Champion, he’s main evented WrestleMania, he’s won the Royal Rumble, and he’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business. Cena has certainly made a name for himself in the professional wrestling business, and now it looks like his star is on the rise in Hollywood.

The fifteen time World Champion received rave reviews for his performances in films such as “Trainwreck” and “Sisters” and it certainly seems that John Cena has a knack for comedy.

John Cena will get another chance to put his comedy skills to the test when he hosts SNL on December 10th, and according to Cena he’s honored and excited.
