The 2019 men’s Royal Rumble match got some major star power when John Cena announced that he would be entering, but WWE announced on Monday that Cena’s status for the match is in question due to injury.
It was recently reported that Cena is not legitimately injured, and the injury is just being used as a way to write him out of the pay-per-view because he’s currently filming a movie.
One way or another, Cena is dedicated to his craft, so he’s playing up the injury on Twitter.
The 16 time WWE World Champion took to social media to remind fans that setbacks are a part of life, and he encouraged everyone to never give up.
Setbacks are a large part of life. People often say “what a bad time to get hurt” or “I can’t believe this happened to me now” ask yourself, is there a good time to get hurt? Or be setback? Setbacks are just another chance to find triumph! Never give up!
