Cena recently faced off against Roman Reigns at the No Mercy pay-per-view, and Cena lost clean to Reigns after he was hit with a Superman Punch and a spear. After the match Cena looked around at the fans as they chanted “thank you Cena” while he slowly made his way up the entrance ramp.
He later appeared on Raw Talk after the pay-per-view and said that he was proud of Roman Reigns for stepping up.
John Cena was rumored for a possible match with Bray Wyatt at Survivor Series, but it appears that his status for the event may have changed.
John Cena has been very busy working on projects outside of WWE recently, and it looks like he’s only going to get busier with his work in Hollywood in the years to come. The former World Champion has said that he will never retire from WWE, but he has said that life is changing for him.
