Jinder Mahal is a very hot topic right now as he basically went from jobber to #1 contender for the WWE Title overnight. Mahal won a six-pack challenge on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, and now he’s set to challenge Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at the Backlash pay-per-view on May 21st.
It seems that the former 3MB member is in for a big push and he will also reportedly become the leader of a full time stable on the SmackDown brand. The sudden push has some fans scratching their heads, while others seem to be embracing the fact that a new star is getting opportunities on Tuesday nights.
Regardless of how people feel about him, Jinder Mahal is ready to make the most of the opportunities he’s been given, and he informed fans via Instagram that he’s “coming for the crown.”
“#tbt to Tuesday night on #SmackDownLive when I became the #1Contender to The WWE Championship. Hate it or love it, I can not be denied. I am coming for the crown. #JustAReminder #wwe”
The wrestling world unfortunately lost a one of a kind performer when Chyna passed away last year.
A documentary about her life titled “Wrestling With Chyna” is currently in the works, and a new trailer for the documentary was released earlier today and it can be viewed below.
