Whether you like it or not, Jinder Mahal is the WWE Champion, and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be dropping the title any time soon. It’s already been announced that Jinder Mahal will be defending his WWE Championship when WWE returns to India for a series of live events in December, so don’t expect him to drop it before then.
Whether you love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Mahal has been on a roll these past few months. He’s successfully defended his title against Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura, and during his promo on SmackDown Live this week he made a huge challenge.
As Jinder was cutting his promo, the fans chanted, “you can’t wrestle” and he reminded them that he’s the WWE Champion. He told them that he must be a man that the fans think is unbeatable, and he must beat the most dominant force in WWE.
Jinder Mahal then said that he’s challenging Brock Lesnar to a match at Survivor Series.
It’s been rumored that Jinder Mahal and Brock Lesnar will be facing off at Survivor Series in a non-title match, and it looks like the rumors are true. That means it’s likely that the pay-per-view will be built around a Raw vs. SmackDown theme this year, so we’ll have to wait and see what other matches get added to the card.
After the announcement, AJ Styles made his way out to the ring and told Jinder that he hasn’t beaten him yet. Jinder then got in his face and AJ attacked him then cleaned house as Jinder and The Singh Brothers retreated to end the segment.
