Being a pro wrestler has to be a tough job and that is evident by how often injuries seem to occur. The fans hate to see one of their favorites go down with an injury and that might have happened twice over the past few days.

It seems WWE has two new injuries to add to the list of awful timing. Although it’s not known how bad either of them really is Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that they both appear to be more knee injuries.

Big Cass went down on the Raw after SummerSlam with a torn ACL and it was a heart breaking moment regardless of if you’re a fan or not. But now you can apparently add Xavier Woods and Samoa Joe to the list of Superstars currently out of action due to knee problems.

“Apparently [Xavier Woods] injured his knee,” Dave Meltzer said. “Samoa Joe injured his knee, and Big Cass injured his knee and Asuka her shoulder. This is all within days. I mean, it’s funny because whenever like people talk to me about certain styles being dangerous and all this I’m like, ‘you know if you pay attention nobody gets hurt worse than WWE guys. And nobody gets hurt more often than WWE guys.'”

“It’s funny because nobody spends more time specifically training to avoid injuries than a lot of the WWE guys — I shouldn’t say all of them but a lot of them. They work a hard schedule without a doubt. They don’t work an easy style, but they don’t work the hardest style.”

“But got they get hurt and you know it’s not a knock, it just is what it is.” Meltzer continued, “They get hurt a lot. So I don’t know like I said with [Xavier] Woods the situation looks like it’s his knee but it appears he suffered an injury tonight [at the WWE house show]. Joe — Samoa Joe suffered a knee injury that was probably on Saturday night in Jonesboro I haven’t been able to get a lot of details on that as in when or how it happened. I know it’s a knee injury. [Samoa Joe] did not work Sunday’s show in Tupelo, he did work Saturday’s show. I guess it’s possible he was hurt earlier and worked through it and figured he couldn’t keep going but it’s said not to be serious but [Joe’s] probably out I was told six weeks or less.”

“So the main event of [Raw] was supposed to be Cena and Joe and even as of this afternoon the word was out it was Cena and Joe which was weird because I knew Joe had missed a show in Tupelo.”
