Anthem recently sent out a press release announcing that the company acquired Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling, and shortly after the acquisition it was announced that Impact Wrestling will be rebranding, as the company is set to become Global Force Wrestling.

A few months ago after Jeff Jarrett took over, Impact Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling merged, and now there are two different sets of titles being used in the company. Impact will settle the title situation at Slammiversary with a few unification matches, and it looks like some new belts could be debuting very soon.

PWInsider reports that Anthem has ordered new belts for the unified titles, and they could potentially be unveiled tonight at Slammiversary.

Current GFW Global Champion Alberto El Patron experienced a little bit of a delay on his way to the Impact Wrestling Fanfest in Orlando. Patron was 20 minutes late to the event due to travel issues while flying from Mexico.
