AJ Styles is the current WWE Champion, and for the past few weeks he’s found himself wrapped up in Shane McMahon’s feud with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

Last week on SmackDown Live, AJ Styles lost a non-title match to Kevin Owens, and this week he faced Sami Zayn with Kevin Owens, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan at ringside.

At one point Kevin Owens blocked the referee from counting the pin when AJ Styles had Sami Zayn on the mat, and that’s when Shane McMahon got involved and shoved Kevin Owens.

Shane then demanded that Kevin Owens be removed from the ringside area, and Daniel Bryan got on the mic and said that Shane should be removed as well.

While everyone was arguing, Styles hit Owens with a kick, then Sami Zayn hit AJ Styles with a Helluva Kick to pick up the victory.

After the match a frustrated AJ Styles got on the mic and said that he might as well be facing Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a handicap match.

Daniel Bryan then announced that AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a handicap match at the Royal Rumble.

The Royal Rumble will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, January 28 2018, and you can check out the updated card below.
