fozzy

We have been very fortunate to experience the Gift of Jericho as much as we have for the past year and we’ve drank in every moment we could, maaaaaan. He actually signed an extension to his current deal so we could have him for even longer due to his amazing popularity. But all things must come to an end.

It’s no secret that Chris Jericho has doubled as a heavy metal rocker since 1999 as frontman of Fozzy with guitarist Rich Ward from Stuck Mojo.

Y2J has said in the past that when he finally retires from professional wrestling he doesn’t want a big farewell, retirement match, or huge announcement. He will just go quietly into that good night and leave the ring empty for another WWE superstar to take over the reins. Jericho has had several good runs with WWE, but there’s no denying that 2016 into 2017 has been one of the best runs of Jericho’s career since he won the Undisputed Title in 2001.

It’s been talked about for quite some time now how Jericho will return to the road with his rock band Fozzy. The plan is to continue touring and working on another studio album and as that time inches closer, the list of new dates have been released for Fozzy’s next tour and there are quite a few.

It’s important to note that this is just one month of touring. Jericho is no stranger to making towns, but in regards to rock music this is sure to take it’s toll on anybody. However, we’re sure he can handle it. Besides, they don’t call him the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla for nothing.

Hopefully Jericho will be back in a WWE ring after his next stint with Fozzy, but you never know. Let’s just enjoy Chris while we can on the Road To WrestleMania where him and his former best, best friend Kevin Owens are sure to at least try and steal the show.

  2. […] Instead, Bray Wyatt was moved over to Raw and Kevin Owens was brought over to SmackDown Live. Of course, this caused two difficult situations for the Payback pay-per-view because his “House Of Horrors” match was already booked (even though WWE had no idea what that match would consist of). The Payback show also now has another match with a convoluted consequence as the winner of the United States Championship match will be placed on SmackDown Live, whoever that will be (most likely Kevin Owens considering the fact Chris Jericho is taking a Fozzy holiday from WWE).
