Quite a few stars left Global Force Wrestling at the beginning of 2017, but the company is always looking for new talents to work with, and it looks like a former WWE Intercontinental Champion could be making his television debut with the company sometime soon. Former WWE star John Morrison was scheduled to appear at a convention in Stockton, California called StocktonCon 2017 on August 19 and 20, but the convention has announced that he will no longer be appearing due to contractual obligations with Global Force Wrestling.

Global Force Wrestling will be taping new episodes of Impact Wrestling at Universal Studios on August 19 and 20, so if John Morrison does appear at the tapings it’s possible that he’ll be making his television debut on Impact soon. The former WWE star recently worked the Global Force Wrestling live events last weekend.

John Morrison is a former ECW World Champion, Intercontinental Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and a two time Slammy Award winner. He parted ways with WWE in 2011.
