Quite a few stars have parted ways with Impact Wrestling as of late, and one big name actually retired from in-ring competition.
Gail Kim challenged for the Impact Knockouts Championship in a triple threat match at Bound For Glory, and she ended up walking out with the title. Kim had announced ahead of time that the match would be her retirement match, and she later vacated the title on Impact.
With the Knockouts Championship vacated, Impact Wrestling announced a tournament to crown a new champion which would see 6 women compete for the title.
It was recently announced that former Impact Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne will be returning to the company to compete in the tournament. Other competitors in the tournament include Rosemary, Sienna, Allie, Laurel Van Ness and KC Spinelli.
The tournament will consist of two triple threat matches followed by a single one on one match to determine the new champion.
The first matches will feature Madison Rayne vs. Laurel Van Ness vs. KC Spinelli, and the second match will feature Allie vs. Sienna vs. Rosemary.
