hall of fame

WrestleMania is only a few short months away, which means that the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is only a few short months away as well. There are quite a few names rumored for this year’s event, but it looks like one name has been confirmed.

According to PWInsider.com, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page is set to be inducted into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class.

Diamond Dallas Page made a name for himself in WCW in the 90s, and he managed to capture the WCW World Heavyweight Championship three times. He is also a former WCW US Champion, TV Champion and Tag Team Champion.

After WWE purchased WCW in 2001, DDP joined the company and he debuted in June of 2001 when he revealed himself to be the man who was stalking The Undertaker’s wife. DDP’s contract later expired in 2002.

DDP has worked with WWE off and on over the past few years, but he has spent most of his time focusing on DDP Yoga.

In 2014 Diamond Dallas Page inducted Jake “The Snake” Roberts into the Hall of Fame over WrestleMania weekend after he helped Jake turn his life around. The events were shared with the world via the documentary “The Resurrection of Jake The Snake.”

As of right now there’s no word on who will be inducting DDP into the Hall of Fame, but with WrestleMania season about to kick into high gear, expect some announcements from WWE sooner rather than later.
