The Royal Rumble is going to be here before we know it, and that means WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is going to need a challenger.
Ever since he returned earlier this year, the first ever Universal Champion Finn Balor has been teasing that he would be going after the title that he never lost. The Royal Rumble seems to be the perfect place for Finn to challenge The Beast, but at this point in time it’s unclear if Finn will be getting a title shot.
It was recently reported that Vince McMahon doesn’t that Finn Balor is over enough to go toe to toe with Brock Lesnar, but the fans seem to disagree with him.
WWE.com recently posted a poll asking fans who they want to see challenge Brock Lesnar next, and Finn Balor won the poll by a large margin.
Balor hasn’t shied away from the reports about his status, as he’s recently been making references to the reports on Twitter, and he reacted to the poll on WWE.com by posting the results along with a simple emoji.

It seems that the fans are trying to make their voices heard when it comes to Finn Balor, so it will be interesting to see how Balor is booked on Raw next week.
