When EC3 joined WWE, fans had high hopes for him, but the company has crushed those hopes and shattered them into a million little pieces.
EC3 hasn’t been used for much more than comedy segments since he joined the main roster, and the general consensus among the wrestling community coming out of Raw this week is that the former Impact World Champion was buried during his segment.
After Baron Corbin tried to give EC3 the special referee spot in his Universal Title match on Sunday, Seth Rollins destroyed EC3 with a chair, then The New Day proceeded to prop EC3 up and jerk his lifeless body around like a scene out of “Weekend at Bernie’s.”
Following the segment EC3 took to Twitter and noted that every time he makes fans laugh, he suffers more inside when he posted the following:
