james ellsworth

James Ellsworth had an unlikely rise to fame after he was demolished by Braun Strowman on an episode of Raw in 2016. Ellsworth told the fans that “Any man with two hands has a fighting chance,” and the quote inspired millions of people around the world.

People connected with Ellsworth and he became quite popular in the world of professional wrestling, but we won’t be seeing him on WWE programming on a regular basis anymore, because WWE announced this week that Ellsworth has been released.

WWE fans are heartbroken by the news of Ellsworth’s release, and judging from all of the nice things his peers have said about him on social media, it’s safe to say he’ll be missed by the SmackDown Live locker room.

However, there’s one member of the SmackDown Live roster who doesn’t appear to have any love for James Ellsworth. Dolph Ziggler recently took to Twitter, and he told James Ellsworth that he is all that is wrong with professional wrestling.

The line often gets blurred between reality and fiction when it comes to professional wrestling on social media, but given that Dolph’s gimmick is to rip on other gimmicks, it’s likely that this is just an in character tweet from Dolph.

Still, there’s no denying that it’s pretty harsh.
