Times are certainly changing, that’s for sure. Jeff Jarrett is once again in charge of TNA, which is a company that has gone through enough name changes to make your head spin, and former TNA President Dixie Carter is no longer the figurehead of the company.

You probably won’t be seing Dixie Carter on Impact anytime soon, but one place where fans can see Dixie is the WWE Network. The former TNA President filmed footage for the “WWE 24: Kurt Angle – Homecoming” special, and her appearance has led to speculation that we may be seeing her on Raw or SmackDown Live.

For months now Kurt Angle has been hiding some sort of secret, but next week the Raw General Manager’s secret will be revealed. At the end of this week’s show, Kurt was featured in a backstage segment where he was on the phone telling someone to come to Raw next week, and that he loved them.

There’s been a lot of speculation that the angle could be leading to the return of Stephanie McMahon, and some fans have also speculated that it may lead to the WWE debut of Dixie Carter as an on screen character.

One fan asked Dixie if she’ll be anywhere near Raw next Monday, and she teased that she’ll be “pretty close.”

It should be noted that Raw is in Nashville next week, and Dixie lives in Nashville, so she will definitely be “pretty close” but whether or not she’ll be appearing on the show remains to be seen.

On this week’s episode of Still Real Radio we’re talking the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view and more. We’re also talking about the return of John Cena, his flag match with Rusev, and whether or not Bray Wyatt’s run on Raw is losing steam. You can subscribe to Still Real Radio on iTunes, and you can also check out the latest episode below.

  1. I love the smell of speculation in the morning. Now, while the possibility surely is there, I’m not going to hold my breath. On the other hand, it is fairly surprising they got her to show up for the documentary. And this is why they say “never say never” in this industry. One thing I will say, if she does become an on screen character, at least she won’t have any pull backstage. She didn’t always make the best choice for TNA.

  2. I thought that part of the TNA buyout was that Dixie got a job as a consultant, for Anthem… Wouldn’t an appearance on RAW be a conflict of interest? Unless, of course, WWE is trying to buy the business from Anthem….

  3. Storyline wise not a bad idea. They can make her Kurt Angle’s helper and this could lead Stephanie and HHH into a feuding position… Kinda like how Mick and Stephanie had.
