Daniel Bryan had to retire before his time was really up. It’s unfortunate but his concussions were a cause for this early retirement and it probably wouldn’t have been an issue even a decade ago. But WWE can’t afford any more negative concussion-related incidents and Daniel Bryan needed to be protected from his own move set.

Even though some WWE doctors might not want Daniel Bryan to lace up his boots again apparently Daniel found some doctors with differing opinions. He’s a fixture on SmackDown Live as GM but we can only imagine being that close to the action has to make him want to jump in the ring even more.

Brie Bella recently spoke to From The Top Rope when she revealed it might not be for WWE, but Daniel Bryan will eventually figure out a way to get back into the ring sooner or later.

“…I told Bryan, ‘You do have a daughter, so always remember that,” Brie said. “But if the doctors finally give you the green light,’ I go, ‘Go! This is your dream and passion. You have one life to live and I will never hold you back.'”

“Because I love to wrestle, and I would hate if someone told me you can’t do it. And if WWE doesn’t allow it, then I said, ‘Go somewhere else. It’s all on you.’ Obviously, he would love to be able to get back in that WWE ring, but I know for a fact my husband is going to find his way back to the ring. He honestly is.”

If Daniel Bryan can come back to the ring and protect himself then we would love to see him get back to action. Brie Bella says he’s going to wrestle again and she sounded very serious about it.

So whether it’s with WWE, ROH, or New Japan it doesn’t sound like there’s anything holding Daniel Bryan back from the ring as soon as his current medical chains have been lifted from him one way or another.
