The day Daniel Bryan had to retire from in-ring competition was very sad indeed. It was especially troublesome for Titus O’Neil because he almost got fired for touching Vince McMahon, but that’s another story.
Brie Bella didn’t retire from the ring because WWE’s doctor made that call. Brie Mode shut herself down so she could take some time away from the ring to give birth to her and Daniel’s daughter Birdie Joe. But it looks like Brie and Nikki are looking for a Bella Twins return and it’s time to start training for such an event.
The most recent episode of Total Divas quickly transitioned from a delightful story of Alexa Bliss getting her mini-pig Larry Steve to The Bella Twins planning for their in-ring return as a duo.
Daniel Bryan was happy to help out and things started out pretty basic. Nia Jax even stopped by to help out and everything seemed to be going just fine at first.
But just as the episode came to a close, it looks like Brie Bella is gearing up for one of her second-rope dropkicks onto her husband, the Bearded GOAT who happens to be on WWE’s “no contact” list meaning you should never touch him because he can’t take bumps.
By the looks of things, Daniel Bryan is about to take a pretty solid bump in this clip. We’ll just have to tune into Total Divas next week to see the rest of this spot. But the tease certainly caught our interest.
If Daniel Bryan is able to take a bump on WWE television it will be interesting to see if they bring up the fact that he shouldn’t be taking such risks since he’s not medically cleared to perform. Let’s just hope Dr. Joseph Maroon is watching Total Divas so he can have an illustration of just how okay Daniel Bryan is to compete once more.
