CM Punk is set to make his UFC debut on September 10 when he steps into the octagon to face Mickey Gall. There’s a lot of hype surrounding his debut, and CM Punk has been a busy man over the past few days, as he’s been doing a lot of media work to promote the fight.

Punk recently spoke to AXS TV about his debut and he was asked about his relationship with Brock Lesnar. Punk has said in the past Brock has given him advice on his MMA career, but it doesn’t sound like they’ve talked recently. Punk joked that he doesn’t think Brock Lesnar has cell service wherever he is.

When asked if he still texts Vince McMahon, Punk laughed and brought up the lawsuit that WWE doctor Chris Amann filed as a response to some comments that CM Punk and Colt Cabana made on Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast.

“Do me and Vince text? No. He’s currently bankrolling a lawsuit against me, so I don’t think he’s going to be reaching out.”

You can check out the video below, Punk talks about Vince around the 2 minute mark.

Speaking of the lawsuit against Punk and Cabana, MMA Insider Front Row Brian is claiming that Punk and Cabana aren’t getting along very well right now. According to him, Colt Cabana went backstage during a WWE Raw event, and that didn’t sit too well with CM Punk because he felt that Cabana going backstage would hurt their defense against the lawsuit.
