Chris Jericho is currently one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling, but he created quite the legacy for himself as a WWE Superstar.

Jericho has been having a lot of fun answering fan questions during his Saturday Night Special series, and a fan recently asked him about Ryback.

The first ever AEW Champion noted that he thinks Ryback is great, and that he was a star who got buried by politics.

According to Chris Jericho he really wanted to work with Ryback, but Vince McMahon changed his mind and booked him in a feud with Fandango instead.

Jericho also claims that at one point he suggested Ryback should break The Undertaker’s streak.

“There was a time when Ryback was so popular, that I suggested he should be the guy that beats the Undertaker. He’s the won. And it didn’t go that way, and sometimes there’s complaints about his work. I loved working with Ryback. I did a bunch of house shows with him in Calgary, and we had great matches. So really, really a big fan of Ryback. Especially at the time, probably 2014, ’15 when he was kind of at his peak.”

Do you think Ryback would have been a better choice to break the streak than Brock Lesnar? Sound off in the comments below.
