It’s been a long road for Tyler Breeze and Fandango. Once thought as outstanding singles prospects, Breeze and Dango found themselves on the losing end of matches more often than not. When the two joined together some thought WWE was just doing whatever they could with them to try something new.
The two became Breezango and had a rocky start to say the least. They picked up with their tag team run exactly where their singles run ended: by losing. The two dawned meter maid costumes and soon transitioned themselves into the Fashion Police. Breezango would walk to the ring giving out tickets to fashion offenders that actually had rude phrases written on them.
It took a lot of work, but Breezango finally found themselves as #1 contenders for SmackDown’s Tag Team Titles. Although they didn’t win the gold, the Fashion Files segment that was spawned during that time helped the two really stand out as more than just enhancement talent. Their back-and-forth is hilarious and there are so many jokes squeezed into such a short time that it really is an impressive display of writing and delivery.
To be honest Breeze and Fandango should have always been on every fan’s radar. The two have incredible ability and are great storytellers. They can also sell and have the ability to take it up a notch when needed so it’s no wonder WWE keeps them working. With the two standing side-by-side the entertainment value more than doubles.
Breezango are off every week in search of their next opponent as they follow the trail to find the Uggos. At Money In The Bank Breezango took out The Ascension in a surprise bonus match. It was a short encounter that didn’t even give Breeze time to prove he’s the master of disguise, but his janitor and old lady characters are amazing when he has the chance to change into costume.
Now Fandango and Tyler Breeze have a new reason to celebrate because they finally have a piece of merch on WWE’s official store. With a badge on the front and jokes hidden within the design of the shirt, nobody will deny your influence when you rock one of these.
