While most of the professional world focused on San Antonio this weekend, The Broken Hardys were in Joppa, Maryland adding to their Expedition of Gold. The Broken Hardys captured the MCW Tag Team Championships when they faced The Ecktourage at MCW’s BROKEN Anniversary show. This show was filmed by the Impact Wrestling crew with plans to air the match in late February.

The Hardys didn’t just win gold in MCW, but they also captured the OMEGA Tag Team Championships at an event in Gobsonville, North Carolina as well. During the event, which was filmed by Impact Wrestling with plans to air during the first week of March; The Hardys made a surprise entrance through the crowd interrupting a 6-man tag match in progress. They demanded a shot at the OMEGA Tag Team Championships and they got their wish.

Later that night a three way tag match was set for the titles and the Hardys came out victorious over The Extreme Horsemen (John Skyler and CW Anderson) and Roy Wilkins & Arik Royal.

As we previously reported, The Broken Hardys were also at an event in Madison, West Virginia recently and tore the house down. The show was also recorded by Impact Wrestling with reports that it will also air in late February. Matt Hardy tweeted out this short video from the event to share the Broken chaos.

Matt Hardy made a very interesting observation and even more intriguing comment concerning the promo for the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view as well.

The Broken Brilliance of Matt Hardy apparently can’t even be stopped if he’s attacked by a vicious animal. Broken Matt recently sent this image out showing a rather bad looking cut caused by Smokin’ Joe Fraizer after a training session in Hardy’s personal petting zoo. Smokin’ Joe is a kangaroo by the way, and obviously he isn’t to be messed with but you couldn’t convince Matt of that fact. (Matt Fact 6,345: Kangaroos Are Dangerous)

  1. The Hardy’s are doing damn near the only original thing in wrestling right now. NJPW is solid, but it is what it is. ROH kills it, but the pomp and craziness of the Broken ones is epic. WWE, give me a wake up call when they come back. Ugh, they suck. Lucha Underground is the bomb. But not yet mainstream. Go go Hardy’s!
