We’re officially on the Road to WrestleMania, but it looks like it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Roman Reigns earned the right to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34 when he won the first ever 7 man Elimination Chamber match, and both men were advertised for a face to face confrontation on Raw.

However, WWE made some last minute changes, and Brock didn’t end up appearing on Raw. WWE often changes plans, and it looks like they also changed the plans for the Intercontinental Title match at WrestleMania.

Braun Strowman was originally penciled in to face The Miz for the belt at WrestleMania 34, but Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the Strowman/Miz match now appears to be off the table.

Instead it looks like WWE officials are building toward a triple threat match between The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor.

It was also noted that Braun Strowman could potentially be the backup plan for the main event incase anything goes wrong.

Seth Rollins officially challenged The Miz to a match at WrestleMania on Raw this week, so we’ll have to wait and see how Miz responds.

One way or another Braun Strowman has had a big year, so hopefully he gets a good spot on the card at WrestleMania 34.
