You never know what could happen when you watch a WWE pay-per-view, and on Sunday night a new champion was crowned. WWE announced before the show started that Keith Lee had been pulled from the US Title match, and a fatal four way was announced to determine his replacement.
John Morrison ended up winning the four way on the Elimination Chamber kickoff show, and he joined the triple threat match.
In the end it was Riddle who won the triple threat match after he hit John Morrison with the Bro Derek to pick up the victory.
After the match Riddle ran up the ramp with the title as Bobby Lashley looked furious.
This is Riddle’s first United States Championship reign. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
