hall of fame

Next year WWE will be bringing WrestleMania back to New Orleans, and as we all know, you can’t have WrestleMania without the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

This year’s induction ceremony was big as it featured DDP, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Rick Rude and Kurt Angle just to name a few. Now it looks like WWE has their eyes on another huge name for next year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.

DirtySheets.net is reporting that WWE officials have been in contact with Goldberg about a possible Hall of Fame induction in New Orleans. It was noted that Goldberg was being considered for the Hall of Fame last year, but plans changed after Brock Lesnar suggested that he and Goldberg work a long term program together.

Goldberg is also reportedly discussing a possible appearance on the 25th anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw which is set to air in January. Other names that have already been confirmed for the 25th anniversary episode include The Undertaker, and WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash.

Goldberg returned to WWE last year and squashed Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. He then went on to win the Universal Title, which he lost to Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.

The next night Goldberg said goodbye to the WWE fans, but he’s left the door open for a possible return int he future.
