This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live was the go-home show for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on Sunday, and the closing segment of the show featured Shane McMahon calling out Kevin Owens.

The two stars were set to meet in the ring, but Kevin Owens didn’t show up, so Shane McMahon made a big change to their Hell in a Cell match. Shane announced that Sunday night they will face off inside Hell in a Cell, but he doesn’t want to confine the match to the cell, so it’s now Falls Count Anywhere.

Kevin Owens then made his way into the arena through the crowd, and he teased that he would be getting into the ring with Shane, but then he walked away.

Shane hopped over the barrier and chased Kevin Owens up the stairs, and Owens attacked him from behind then powerbombed him through a merch table. Owens then entered the arena and made his way back down to the ring while Shane McMahon recovered.

Kevin Owens then cut a promo about how he wants to be able to fight Shane McMahon inside and outside of the cell. He said that he’s going to drag Shane to the top of the cell, and that he’s going to throw him off the top. As Owens was cutting his promo, Shane made his way down the stairs while he sold the pain from the powerbomb.

Shane and Owens then brawled as the fans chanted “this is awesome.”

Shane tried to fight back, but KO hit him with a headbutt then followed up with a pop-up powerbomb to end the show.
