It’s no big secret that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair aren’t friends right now, and the two stars will face off at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday. WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair recently teased that he’ll be in attendance for their match at Survivor Series when he tagged Becky Lynch in the following tweet:

Becky Lynch was recently asked about Ric Flair during an appearance on the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, and she tore Flair down while noting that she typed out a response to his tweet, but ultimately deleted it.

“Look, I saw that tweet. The one you’re referring too, the one I’m referring to. I wrote out a response that would’ve been quite biting, and I deleted it and I let it go because I think it’s really sad. This a legend at one point. This legend, a 16 World Champion Ric Flair, is now jealous of me. That’s cool, it’s cool for me. And he’s now trying to use me to get clout, to promote whatever he has going on next because he’s dug himself into a bit of a hole with other things. So I kind of just was like ‘ah, let me let him out of it because it’s kind of sad’, you know? It’s kind of sad.”

Over the last few years Becky Lynch has become one of WWE’s biggest stars, and on her way to the top she started calling herself The Man. The nickname caught on with the fans, but Ric Flair got into a trademark dispute with WWE over “The Man” which ultimately resulted in Flair transferring the rights to WWE.

Flair responded to Becky’s comments, and he also referenced the issues with the trademark when he posted the following response:

“So Disappointed! I Did This Out Of Respect For You @BeckyLynchWWE! It Made You Millions & Made Me Nothing. After 40 Years Of Being The Man… The Company Doesn’t Own It, And Neither Do You! I’ll Always Be The Man! Ask Your Husband.”

Survivor Series will air live on pay-per-view on Sunday, November 21. Stay tuned for updates.
