It’s no big secret that WWE likes to plan out their main event for WrestleMania well in advance, but it seems that there’s a lot of uncertainty concerning the main event for WrestleMania 35.
For the past 4 years, Roman Reigns has wrestled in the main event of WrestleMania, and it was expected that he would be a big part of the show next year, but Roman announced on Monday that he’s taking time off to get healthy as he battles leukemia.
PWInsider is reporting that due to the the Roman Reigns situation all early plans for the WrestleMania 35 main event are out the window.
As far as other big names WWE could put in the main event, it was also recently reported that a potential Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair match was being talked about as a potential main event a few months ago.
It’s already been confirmed that Ronda Rousey will be in action at WrestleMania 35, but we’ll just have to wait and see if she makes history by closing the show.
