WWE has been high on Braun Strowman for the past few months, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the company may have changed their mind about him. According to the report WWE officials are having second thoughts about Strowman’s push, and the reaction he received during his recent Raw main event with Dean Ambrose didn’t help his cause.
The original plan for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal was to have Braun Strowman win the match. It was also noted that plans called for Braun Strowman to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. It’s possible that Strowman gets the win on Sunday but it’s said that a Strowman victory is no longer set in stone.
