Following Crown Jewel quite a few WWE Superstars got stranded in Saudi Arabia, and it’s been rumored that Vince McMahon didn’t air the show live in Saudi Arabia due to money owed by the Saudis, and that they retaliated by delaying the plane that was supposed to take talents out of the country.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon called a meeting at 3 p.m. and that basically no one said anything. It was explained that nothing is wrong, and the delays were blamed on mechanical issues. However, Meltzer noted that he’s spoken to people that are “so vehement” that’s not true.

He noted that the guys who don’t believe the story were “real mad” but there were those who accepted it.

Crown Jewel aired on delay in Saudi Arabia, and Meltzer noted he was told by WWE that it was a technical issue, but during the meeting Vince McMahon reportedly said the delay was a decision made by Saudi Arabia.

The talents were asked if they had any questions during the meeting. Randy Orton tried to make a joke. Rusev said something, and Seth Rollins also reportedly said something. Dave Meltzer previously reported that Seth tried to give a “rah-rah” speech before Raw, and Rollins commented on the report via Twitter.

Meltzer also noted that not much has changed, and the people who are unhappy are still unhappy. The people who want to stay still want to stay.
