Matt Riddle is quickly rising up the ranks in NXT, and he has a reputation for being outspoken. Riddle certainly doesn’t sugarcoat his thoughts, and he hasn’t been shy about letting the world know exactly how he feels about Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. A few years ago Matt Riddle took a shot at Goldberg during an interview with Sporting News when he said, “Bill Goldberg can’t wrestle. That’s it. He knows it.” Apparently Goldberg isn’t a Matt Riddle fan, as he blocked him on Twitter.

Riddle has also said several times that he wants to retire Brock Lesnar, and he also recently threatened to ruin Brock’s Money in the Bank cash in.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there’s no heat on Matt Riddle, and WWE officials aren’t unhappy about his comments. He hasn’t been told to stop, and it’s being said that WWE officials are actually very happy with what he’s been doing.

Some people think that Matt Riddle was told to do what he’s doing, but that’s just speculation and hasn’t been confirmed.

Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg are both scheduled to be in Saudi Arabia for WWE Super ShowDown, and it’s rumored that Matt Riddle could end up competing in the battle royal at the event.
