The Sasha Banks/Charlotte feud finally came to an end Sunday night at WWE Roadblock: End of the Line. Charlotte defeated Sasha to win the Raw Women’s Championship in an Iron Man match, and WWE has announced that Sasha will not get a rematch.

Charlotte has already moved on to a new feud, as Monday night on Raw Charlotte came down to the ring to brag about her win, and she ended up facing off against Bayley in a singles match. Bayley was able to pull off a big win over the champion, and it looks like their feud will be heating up over the next few months.

After the women of Team Raw won at Survivor Series it looked like WWE had plans to move ahead with the Charlotte/Bayley feud, but they continued the Sasha/Charlotte feud instead. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE decided to hold off on the Charlotte/Bayley feud because they want it to climax at WrestleMania.

The idea is that the feud will pick up steam over the next few months so it can be showcased on the big pay-per-views such as the Royal Rumble and Mania.

The feeling is that Bayley is more over than Sasha Banks as a babyface, and that the money is in a Charlotte vs. Bayley feud. It was also noted that Vince McMahon reportedly isn’t high on Sasha Banks, and her title reign wasn’t supposed to be a long term thing.

As the Iron Man match was coming to a close on Sunday, Sasha Banks tapped out with only two seconds left to send the match into overtime. It was noted that Vince McMahon assumed the crowd would be full of energy as they were counting down during the last ten seconds of the match, and everyone would be stunned when Sasha tapped out. The hope was that it would make for a dramatic moment, but unfortunately the crowd reaction didn’t exactly work out as planned.

Sasha Banks made her way down to the ring on Raw this week, and she sold a leg injury as she came down to the ring using a crutch. Sasha Banks was interrupted by Nia Jax and it appeared that a seed was planted for a feud between the two ladies because Jax attacked the already wounded Sasha Banks.
