Axelmania Finally Returned At A WWE Raw Live Event

It’s been a while since fans have seen the Axelmania gimmick run wild. Curtis Axel brought the gimmick to life last year, but after WWE cut ties with Hulk Hogan, Axel was forced to drop the Axelmania schtick.

It’s been rumored for months now that there’s interest in bringing Hulk Hogan back to WWE, and his daughter Brooke even claimed that he’s been receiving calls about WrestleMania. Hulk Hogan later came out and denied Brooke’s claims, but rumors of his return to WWE continue to run wild. It remains to be seen when, or if, Hulk Hogan will be returning to WWE, but earlier this week Axelmania made its triumphant return.

Curtis Axel brought the gimmick back for a Raw live event in St. Louis, MI, and it looks like Axel was thrilled to be wearing the bandana once again. He teamed with Goldust, R-Truth, Sin Cara and Darren Young to defeat Bo Dallas, Jinder Mahal, Titus O’Neil and The Shining Stars, and you can check out a photo of Axelmania running wild below.

According to a fan in attendance Axel went all out by hulking up and hitting the leg drop.
