The 2017 Royal Rumble is shaping up to be a huge event, and it’s set to go down on January 29 from the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. This week on Raw, Goldberg revealed that he will be entering the 2017 Royal Rumble, and now it looks like another big star will be joining the match as well.

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Goldberg’s most recent opponent, Brock Lesnar, will also be part of the Royal Rumble match. PWS also broke the news about Goldberg entering the Royal Rumble before it was confirmed on Raw.
It was recently speculated that WWE may use the Royal Rumble match to set up another confrontation between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. The Royal Rumble match played a big role in setting up Goldberg’s match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20, and it looks like we could see a similar scenario play out on the road to WrestleMania 33.
