AJ Styles was the guest for Michael Cole’s sit down interview this week where he talked about his long journey to WWE and more. AJ Styles says he took the “long route” to get to WWE. He says he wasn’t ready to be in WWE when WCW folded and that he’s glad he traveled the world to get the experience and knowledge he needed.

Styles says he was worried that no one was going to know who he was when he debuted at the Royal Rumble. But he said he will never forget the response. He also talked about beating Chris Jericho in his debut on Raw and said he feels he and Jericho are very similar.

Cole asks how working in WWE is different from working in other organizations. Styles jokes that the catering is great then praises WWE saying that the company is very professional. He says everyone in the locker room was very welcoming and that he felt comfortable right way. Cole says that’s nice to hear from an outsider because WWE gets bashed a lot on social media.

Michael Cole then asked AJ Styles what his goal is right now. Styles says he wants his WrestleMania moment. You can check out the full interview above.
