Wrestling is a unique form of entertainment. In order to fully enjoy it you need to be able to suspend disbelief for a little while and just escape. Wrestling is special because you can take it seriously and not so seriously all at the same time.
Sometimes things get a little more cartoon like when a performer decides overselling is the best way to go when it comes to taking a move. Overselling is when someone exaggerates the intensity or impact of a move in order to make it look more devastating. Some people don’t enjoy this method, but personally we love it. When a performer oversells it can be extremely entertaining which is the whole point of professional wrestling in first place right?
