Shawn Michaels returned to WWE on Raw this week, but he didn’t do much else besides promote his upcoming movie and deliver a superkick to Rusev. Ever since Shawn Michaels retired the night after WrestleMania 26, fans have been dying to see him get back in the ring again, and with the 2017 Royal Rumble taking place in San Antonio, TX, everyone’s been wondering if Shawn will get in on the action.

The WWE Hall of Famer appeared on Raw Fallout this week, and he was asked about his Royal Rumble status, and if he might be entering the 30 man Royal Rumble match as a surprise entrant. Michaels says he might drop by the Royal Rumble to visit, but he’s been doing his best over the past few years to show people that you actually can retire and stay retired from the wrestling business.

Although Michaels stressed that he’s retired, he also decided to have a little fun by noting that in the WWE you never really know what’s going to happen.

In 2007 the Royal Rumble match came down to Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, and Taker managed to throw Shawn over the top rope to earn himself a title shot at WrestleMania 23. Although we likely won’t be seeing HBK in the Royal Rumble match, The Undertaker will be looking to win the match once again in San Antonio, TX.

This week on Raw The Undertaker declared that he will enter the Royal Rumble match and Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley were in the ring when he made his announcement.

Mick Foley shared his thoughts on The Undertaker’s return via Facebook and you can see what he had to say below.

“I couldn’t help but feel emotional as The Undertaker made his way down to the ring last night. It was almost like seeing that cage inside the WWE warehouse on #HolyFoley – coming face to face with something/someone that was such a major part of shaping my past. What do you think of The Undertaker entering #RoyalRumble? I think it instantly creates a whole new level of excitement for this event.”

  1. The undertaker is the person whose presence in the ring ACTUALLY make the likes of Mick Foley, A.J.Styles and actually all of the superstars to feel overwhelmed and to feel chill in their spines
