We’re on the road to WrestleMania 32 and the big event is less than two weeks away. This was the second to last show before WrestleMania and WWE continued to build anticipation for the show of shows.

So how did things go down on Monday Night Raw this week? Let’s take a look.

#5 – AJ Styles And Kevin Owens Kick Off The Action On Monday Night Raw

WWE didn’t waste any time on Monday night. Stephanie McMahon came out, did a quick promo with Roman Reigns, then it was right into AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens. Styles and Owens kicked off the action on Raw and they did not disappoint.

Styles and Owens delivered a pay-per-view quality match with big action, big moves and plenty of near falls. We’re even pretty sure that Kevin Owens dropped an F-bomb after AJ Styles kicked out of his Frog Splash. The bottom line is, this match was great.

In the end Chris Jericho came out to distract AJ Styles allowing Kevin Owens to get the roll up with the win. Styles vs Owens left us wanting more and that’s the point. This is definitely a feud that WWE is going to be kicking into high gear down the line and we can’t wait to see it happen.

#4 – Terry Funk Endorses Dean Ambrose For WrestleMania 32

Last week Mick Foley passed his barbed wire baseball bat off to Dean Ambrose. This week Chainsaw Charlie gave Dean Ambrose his chainsaw.

Terry Funk made a surprise cameo in the home of ECW, Philadelphia, PA and he endorsed Dean Ambrose for WrestleMania 32. Funk met up with Dean Ambrose at a bar in Philly and he gave Ambrose an excellent, but incoherent pep talk. He then presented Dean Ambrose with a chainsaw and told him that it was his now.

Ambrose wanted to make sure the chainsaw would work so he tested it out on a table in the bar. It worked.

Dean Ambrose has acquired quite the arsenal on the road to WrestleMania 32. He has a barbed wire bat and a chainsaw. There’s still one more episode of Raw to go before the show of shows. We can’t help but wonder if another wrestling legend is going to hook him up with another weapon next week.

#3 – The New Day Continues To Make One Of The Smoothest Face Turns Ever

Face turns are tough, but The New Day is totally nailing it right now. Of course, New Day are way too entertaining to hate so it’s easier for them than most, but still, this is going really, really well. The New Day and the League of Nations continued to build towards their match at WrestleMania this week. The League of Nations were doing their thing when The New Day made their way to the ring.

New Day ripped on Del Rio and King Barrett with some decent insults, but it was when they got to Sheamus that things started to get good. They made fun of Sheamus for having a name that sounds like Shame-us. Get it, because he has the word “shame” in his name. Then they made fun of his parents. It was hilarious guys, way funnier than it sounds. One of those things you had to see. Trust us, if you saw it, you would be laughing It was hilarious dammit, hilarious we tell you!

Anyway the point is, this League of Nations vs New Day feud seemed a little awkward at first, but it’s setting the New Day up for what could potentially be a huge face run. The New Day have been carrying the WWE tag team division for quite some time now and even though they’re supposed to be heels, people can’t help but cheer for them. WWE is doing the right thing by making the turn official and they’re doing it right because they’re taking it slow.

#2 – Fandango Faces Chris Jericho In A WrestleMania Rematch

Remember Fandango? Well he still exists and WWE blew the dust off of him on Raw then rolled him out for a match. That’s right, this is not a drill, there was a rare Fandango sighting on Raw.

Fandango stepped up to face Chris Jericho in a WrestleMania Rewind match. But unlike their match at WrestleMania 29, Fandango wasn’t able to pull out the victory. This time around Jericho put him away with the Codebreaker.

So Fandango didn’t get the win, and it’s not likely that Fandago-ing is going to make a comeback anytime soon. Still, Fandago’s match was a nice reminder of a different time, a simpler time.

#1 – Vince McMahon’s Major Announcement Lives Up The The Hype

Earlier in the day WWE was promoting that Vince McMahon would be making a huge announcement on Raw and it definitely lived up to the hype. Vince announced that WrestleMania 32 will be The Undertaker’s last WrestleMania if he doesn’t defeat Shane at the big event.

Both Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon already had something on the line at WrestleMania 32, but now The Undertaker has something on the line as well. Vince managed to raise the stakes with his announcement and the huge stipulation only makes this already interesting match even more intriguing.

How is the Shane McMahon/Vince McMahon/Undertaker saga going to end? It’s anybody’s guess at this point.
