After a long and successful career James Storm has arrived in NXT. Although his contract status remains unknown at the moment, the thought of Storm working full time in NXT and WWE has fans excited. Should James Storm stick around for a while these are the wrestlers we want to see him go toe to toe with.

#10 – Hideo Itami

Hideo Itami is known for upping the ante with in ring action and James Storm is accustomed to accommodating many different styles. It would be fun to see Storm and Itami face off in NXT because Itami would keep Storm on his feet which in turn, would leave the fans hanging on their every move.

#9 – Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin has a bit of an attitude problem and he needs someone to set him straight. Corbin is an up and comer and James Storm is a seasoned veteran. We’re willing to bet that if Storm has to listen to Baron Corbin run his mouth for too long, he’s going to want to give him some veteran advice in the form of a Last Call superkick.

#8 – Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose is crazy, James Storm can be crazy. It seems like they would be great friends, they just don’t know it yet. Dean Ambrose and James Storm are probably going to be drinking buddies someday, but in order for that to happen, they’re going to need to beat each other up for a while. Let these two fight then let them run through the tag team division. Because that would be awesome.

#7 – Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens is a huge bully and we’re willing to bet that’s not going to sit well with James Storm. Storm and Owens can both be very innovative in the ring so there’s a good chance that this match will steal the show if it ever takes place.

#6 – Finn Balor

Finn Balor and James Storm have both been in the game for a long time. In the world of professional wrestling experience is a valuable thing and seeing these to go to to toe in a NXT ring would be quite the spectacle that’s for sure. Throw Finn Balor’s NXT Title into the mix and you’ve got the makings of an instant classic.

#5 – Randy Orton

A Randy Orton/James Storm feud works on so many levels. You could have either guy working as the face or either guy working as the heel and it would be entertaining. Orton and Storm seem like they would have some good chemistry together in the ring, but it’s the thought of the two making each other’s lives miserable that makes this feud an interesting prospect.

#4 – John Cena

John Cena has been on top of the wrestling industry for quite some time now and he’s really stepped up his in ring game recently. James Storm and John Cena could take each other to the limit and give fans something worth talking about. It’s not hard to believe that a potential John Cena/James Storm match could be in the same levels of quality as say Cena’s matches with Punk, Cesaro or Owens.

#3 – Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has shown that he can get a good match out of pretty much anyone and Storm has proved he can do the same thing throughout his career. These two guys know how to make themselves and their opponents look good when they step into the ring. If a guy like James Storm gets an opportunity to face Seth Rollins, you know he’s going to pull out all the stops which is why this would definitely be a match worth watching.

#2 – Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is famous for his psychological mind games and James Storm has been known to play some mind games of his own. Seeing Storm feud with Wyatt could be fun because as dark as Bray Wyatt is, James Storm proved during his time with The Revolution that he can be just as dark.

#1 – Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is famous for using his Codebreaker finishing maneuver and James Storm is famous for using the same maneuver under the name Closing Time. Who does it better? Well, there’s only one way to settle the matter and that’s with a match placing these two veterans against each other. Storm and Jericho are both selfless performers inside the ring and they just seem like a perfect match for each other. Give them 15 minutes and let them tear the house down.
